Make NO COMMENT to the Media if they call you.

Eliminate the Source

  • Stop the practice that you were doing

  • Shut down the appropriate valves and pumps

  • Make sure the system can't be restarted.

  • Instead, eliminate & contain spills for cleanup

Contain the Spill

  • If the spill gets into the tile drain, plug the tile at its outlet

  • If the spill is moving over the ground surface, a berm should be constructed to temporarily stop the flow.
